Why We Love LA
Los Angeles runs on us. The cooks. The caregivers. The teachers. The builders. The small business owners. From South LA to Boyle Heights, the Valley to the Harbor – this city moves because we move it.
We may come from different neighborhoods, celebrate different holidays, and eat different foods but our culture, our hard work and hustle run through every vein of this city.
And LA is a place where anything is possible – where you can start over, build a business from scratch, and chase your dreams no matter where you come from or how long you've been here. That’s the beauty of LA and why we love it.
Dreams Are Getting
Harder To Reach
But right now, those dreams are getting harder to reach and harder to afford. For too long, powerful corporations and wealthy insiders have been rigging the rules. And now, under the Trump administration, they’re cashing in - winning bigger tax breaks and special treatment – while working families are squeezed by rising rent, groceries, and healthcare.
And while they are getting richer, Trump is sending militarized raids into our communities, tearing families apart, and disrupting the working people who keep this city and our country running. They want us distracted and fighting each other so that we don’t fight them.

LOVE IS HOW WE FIGHT BACK
We’re choosing something different. We’re choosing each other. We’re choosing our communities. This is our city.
Los Angeles should work for the people who make it work. That means:
Homes people can actually afford
Wages that keep up with the cost of living
Strong small businesses and good jobs
Schools and healthcare our families can rely on
Because LA doesn’t belong to billionaires. It belongs to the people who love it, power it, and fight for it.
When our communities are under attack, Angelenos don’t back down, we show up. Across race, neighborhood, and background, we come together to protect each other and build a city that works for all of us. Because when we stand together, there is no billionaire powerful enough to divide us.
